The goal is kindergarten, and it’s never too early to lay the necessary groundwork. At age three, we’re hitting the books as well as the computers. To provide more specific age-appropriate learning, we split the rooms into younger and older three-year-olds based on birthdays and developmental levels.
The focus is firmly on language and speech development as well as social and communication skills. Lesson plans include circle time, music, math, science, nutrition and art. Children start to learn about letters, colors, the calendar, weather and other basic educational building blocks.
